the family room was really spacious n had a separate area for the kids which was nice. the staff, especially the girl at reception, were super chill n helpful. parking was easy to find too, even if it was a bit noisy outside. the bed was comfy enough for us too.
had some issues with insects in the room n the showers were way too hot n barely worked. the pool could be cleaner as well.

The Family Room offered ample space, accommodating everyone comfortably, which was a relief during our stay. The separate area for kids adds a nice touch, giving us some much-needed quiet time.
The hotel clearly needs maintenance. the heating was non-existent in one room, which was tough on a chilly morning. We had a tough time with the temperature inconsistencies in the showers, and the presence of insects left an uncomfortable impression. The exterior landscape needs work as well, with sizable potholes in the parking lot that could use some attention.

Car park filled with potholes!!! The building was completely dark on arrival, and the sliding bathroom door lacked privacy. A little fresh paint could do wonders!!!

The location offers easy access to nearby attractions, making it a convenient stop for travelers passing through. A solid budget option for those not picky about luxury.
The overall condition of the place feels pretty neglected, with visible signs of decay like peeling paint and damp spots around the windows. Rooms could use a thorough cleaning. we found stains on the bedding and a less-than-pleasant odor lingering in the air. The parking lot has its fair share of potholes, making navigation a bit tricky late at night, and the lighting is not exactly bright enough to give much confidence. It's also worth noting that the heating situation is hit-or-miss, leaving some rooms pretty chilly while others had to share a couple of heaters amongst multiple guests.

It was just a commendable fit for a temporary stay in Stoke-on-Trent with great value. The friendly barman was the only highlight during my visit. Make sure to check if food is available before arriving.

would definitely come back here
the family room was spacious and had a door connecting to another room, which was nice. showers were a bit too hot, but the indoor swimming pool was enjoyable, even if it was a bit sandy. parking wasn’t too bad, just watch for potholes. a quirky place that has character.

The family room was spacious and well presented, which was a plus. there were cleanliness issues, including cobwebs and toothpaste stains in the sink. The hot water was only warm, which could be improved. This could be a suitable option for families looking for space but may need more attention to hygiene.

A Great Spot for Family Gatherings
The staff here, they really go above and beyond. I mean, one fella at the bar made sure all our drinks were just right, even when it got a bit busy. Another standout moment was the breakfast. The full English really hit the spot on a chilly morning, fresh ingredients that you could actually taste, not that pre-packaged stuff.
It wasn’t exactly budget-friendly, but it was still tolerable.
